Billy and Margaret Barron entered New Tribes Mission in 1971, and received
their training in Oviedo, Florida. After training, they remained on the
teaching staff at the training center. Along with teaching and training
students for the mission field, Billy was privileged to visit some of
countries where NTM works, among them Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico.
In
1979, they were transferred to the New Tribes Mission Institute, near
Durant, Mississippi. During that time, Billy served as chairman of the
training institute, along with teaching and performing the administrative
duties.
In 1990, the Barrons were asked to switch gears and join the
representation ministry of NTM. Since that time they have done an
excellent job targeting the private and public schools and colleges as
well, challenging youth for missions. Their ministry also includes
presenting the challenge of reaching tribal people to the local church. |
