Bob and Judy Bowman bring a wealth of experience to their ministry of informing Christians about missions and missionary opportunities.
Their years of service began with young people in Southern California. After working as Chairman of a public high school science department, Bob left the public schools to serve as youth pastor to several hundred teens. Leadership of an evangelism ministry took them to the Midwest and finally to New England. Before joining New Tribes Mission in 1992, Bob was senior pastor of two New England churches.
As members of NTM, they first served in Tambo, Bolivia, where Bob taught Bible and science courses and served as campus pastor for NTM’s school for missionary children. Judy taught in the elementary classes. Later, at New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Bob taught Pentateuch, Apologetics, Pastoral Epistles, and Homiletics. Judy served in the finance office as well as maintaining information files for the Bible Institute prayer ministry.
Bob is a skilled communicator and speaks at Bible conferences, college campuses and local church mission conferences. He is also available for Sunday teaching and preaching. In addition, he and Judy share in children's meetings, camp programs, small-group settings and home meetings. They are available for consultation regarding global outreach and evangelism strategies.
Bob and Judy seek to enlarge the vision of the church and mobilize believers for world evangelization. They have a passion for helping to mobilize believers to become "world Christians.” Their hearts’ desire is to see Christians go to the ends of the earth, planting churches among those who have not yet heard the Gospel of Christ.
