Born and raised in the Faroe Islands near Iceland, Oli
Jacobsen spent time on fishing boats before committing his life to tribal
evangelism. A good communicator, Oli has ministered God's Word in four
different languages.
After completing his formal education, Oli spent the first 15 years of his
missionary career at NTM's Language and Linguistic
Institute, serving as director for seven of those years. He went on to become
field chairman of NTM's ministries in the Philippines
and served in that capacity for ten years. Oli currently heads the NTM
Executive Committee, which directs the efforts of New Tribes Mission.
Oli's extensive travels and experience give him
a broad knowledge of world missions. His stories, fresh from the field, paint
a clear picture of what is happening in missions today. Oli's
love for the Lord, his down-to-earth attitude, and his passion for those who
have yet to hear the Gospel combine to make him a challenging speaker.

In my mind, guts and glory sums up NTM Australia for me. Guts, because
they take the gospel to places no one else is willing to go and glory,
because their passion is to see Jesus Christ glorified in everything
they do.
