ANSWERS TO PRAYER
March 23rd, 2011 PHILIPPINES (Palawano tribe)
Earlier this month, Bill and Donna Davis were able to check the translation of part of Romans and some other books, to ensure that they communicate clearly. They plan to finish the rest of Romans in May. That would mean that Romans, Galatians, 1 and 2 Timothy and 1 John will all be ready for a final check this summer. Thank the Lord for good progress. Pray that the rest of the translation work can be completed on schedule.
Mattanja Oosterhuis is talking again, and knows where she is, why she is there and what month it is. This signals great progress after a severe brain hemorrhage and emergency surgery last month. Thank you for praying. Jaap and Betsy, Mattanja's parents, have served with NTM in Ivory Coast and Papua New Guinea, and currently serve in the Netherlands.
Wednesday, Mattanja Oosterhuis was moved to the neurosurgery ward because her breathing is improving and she's responding to specific questions. The 24-year-old daughter of NTM missionaries Jaap and Betsy Oosterhuis suffered a severe brain hemorrhage and underwent surgery last week. Thank you for praying; please continue to pray for her recovery, and for her family. Jaap and Betsy have served in Ivory Coast and Papua New Guinea, and currently serve in the Netherlands.
I am praying for the work with the Tarahumara [tribe in Mexico] at all times. I am also very interested in the Gospel for the Tepehuan [tribe in Mexico]. May God richly bless your ministry. I would like to say to the missionaries that I support that they are doing a great thing.
