This tropical region produces weather that often includes either 100-degree heat or monsoon rains. These extremes place a lot of stress on mechanical items such as generators, pumps and vehicles, and make repairing these items outdoors almost impossible. |
| A workshop complete with drive in bays, engine hoist, and facilities for welding, metal fabrication, and small engine repair would allow indoor repair and fabrication. |
