| Jet Ranger helicopter |
|
A helicopter has been located to help reach tribal people who live in extremely remote locations.
The helicopter NTM had used was seriously damaged in an accident, and the most economical course of action is to replace it with a used helicopter.
The helicopter that has been located is already in Papua New Guinea, and is a Long Ranger, that is able to carry a larger payload than the Jet Ranger. |
The purchase price for the helicopter is $950,000.
Overhauling major parts and upgrading the maintenance schedule on the engine will cost $399,000.
Additional necessary equipment and training will cost $109,000. |
