Purpose:

THE SUPPLY DEPARTMENT MANAGER PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE ON THE CHURCH PLANTING TEAM. Over a dozen missionary teams living in remote locations purchase the majority of their food and supplies from the supply department. The supply department maintains a small store from which they fill these orders. Missionaries living at the support center also purchase most of their food and supplies from the store. There are no stores in the local area.

Responsibilities:

Two people work together to fulfill all the responsibilities of the supply department. The supply department manager will maintain the computer and financial side of the supply department as follows:
• Maintain inventory for the supply department.
• Receive and enter goods into the computer.
• Enter and process all ordering and billing data.
• Order goods for the supply department.
• As necessary help with the purchasing and packing of goods.
