I was born in Hayden KY, my parents were in the training there at that time with New Tribes Mission. The first country my parents went to was Senegal West Africa. I was two at the time. We were there for three months then my brother was born with medical problems and we returned to the states. I was saved when I was four putting my trust in Christ as my Savior. My family was able to return to West Africa when I was six this time going to Guinea West Africa. This is were I grew up. I hunted monkeys and warthogs with my friends. Played soccer and built relationships with the kids my age. It was not until I was a teenager that I began to walk with the Lord. I was reading the book Hudson Taylor's spiritual secret when I began to see the need of a walk with my Savior. It was at this time too that I would take trips with my dad to other villages to build relationships with them. I saw that if no one would go and tell these people of what Christ had done for them that they would die and go to Hell. When I graduated I came back to the states with my parents and worked for a year and saved up money for Bible School. This was the first part of the training with New Tribes. After two years there I went to Camdenton Missouri. This is where I am know learning how to be a tribal church planter. We are learning all kinds of things such as how to learn an unwritten language. How to present the gospel relevant to their culture and many more things. That is where I am at now. The next step is raising support for going over seas and then French study. I hope to be in Guinea West Africa 2010.
