Higaunon tribe, Philippines (November 4th, 2009): Nearly 2,000 Higaunon New Testaments made it to a tribal village last week. Pray that many can be bound in time to be distributed at a Nov. 14 thanksgiving service. Find out more -- read the story >>

Higaunon tribe, Philippines (October 29th, 2009): Thirty-one plywood boxes containing Higaunon New Testaments are being trucked today for delivery to a drop-off point. Each box will require two men to carry the New Testaments over a trail to the village. Pray for a safe delivery. The New Testaments will be bound by the people and a celebration is planned for Nov. 14.

Tagbanwa tribe, Philippines (October 23rd, 2009): Two Tagbanwa men, Joshua and Romy, have been teaching the believers for the past two months. The believers have listened intently and have supported the teachers in prayer. Another couple, Edmund and his wife, Amay, have been leading the singing and have an enthusiastic choir each week. Please pray for the believers to remain steadfast as the missionary team is on home assignment.

Higaunon tribe, Philippines (October 21st, 2009): A shipment of Higaunon New Testaments has arrived in Manila. Missionaries are now trying to find a way to speed them on their way to the tribe and get them bound before a Higaunon thanksgiving service on Nov. 14. Please pray for the logistics to be worked out.

Palawano tribe, Philippines (October 19th, 2009): Bill and Donna Davis just finished six intensive days with four Palawano co-workers to translate the books of Luke and 1 and 2 Timothy. Good progress is being made. Please pray that the team will be energized and maintain their focus to give the Palawanos the message they need to hear.

Philippines (October 6th, 2009): Manila was spared the effects of a second typhoon which hit further north. Continue to pray for those who are going through the cleanup process and that missionaries can be a blessing to those who are grieving the loss of family and possessions.

Palawano tribe, Philippines (October 5th, 2009): Four Palawano men are working with missionaries Bill and Donna Davis on the translation of Luke. Please pray that they will have the energy and ability to think clearly so they can produce a clear, natural flowing translation in the Palawano language.
