Daily Scripture

"The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah."

Psalm 21:1-2

Paul and Faith Wyma
Paul and Faith Wyma

Growing up, Both Paul and Faith grew up in New Tribes Mission as their parents were part of the mission from it's beginning days.  They saw the tremendous need for people to hear about Christ in their own language.  “Even as a young boy, I desired to be involved with taking the Gospel to an unreached tribal group,” Paul said.

They went to Bolivia in 1968 and spent ten years working with the Ayore people and learned to speak their language and love them.  In 1978 they were asked to take the leadership of the new fledgling field of Mexico and spent twelve years in that fascinating country and saw five different tribal works started.  In 1990 they, once again, moved South and spent seven years in Paraguay, giving leadership to that field.  Now, since 1997 they have been a part of the Executive Board of NTM and live in Florida.

Paul and Faith’s heart for life and ministry reflect their favorite verses. “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” And “I have no one else like him, who takes a genuine interest in your welfare … as a son with his father he has served with me in the work of the Gospel.”

When you meet Paul and Faith, you will learn two things about yourself if you don’t already know; one, that you are valued, and two, you can take part in what God is accomplishing today for His glory.
