(November 17th, 2009): Missionary John Stucky and his Sanapaná co-worker, Regino, are working this week with a skilled Bible translator, Paul Cheshire, to check about 700 verses in the Sanapaná translation. Please pray that the team will have wisdom as they determine whether the translation is clearly communicating God’s Word to the Sanapaná people. Manjui tribe, Paraguay
(November 3rd, 2009): A Manjui Bible teacher -- Isnei -- is now teaching a group about the life of Christ. This group of Manjuis had no idea what the Old Testament was about before Isnei taught them. They are now beginning to understand clearly that Jesus is the Messiah they heard about in the previous lessons. Please pray that they will express true faith in Christ. Nivacle tribe, Paraguay
(October 29th, 2009): Jamie and Char Hunt are transitioning to a new ministry among the Nivacle people. They will join Manjui missionaries, Isnei and Zitilla, who are currently teaching Bible lessons to the people. (October 26th, 2009): Thirty-five Pai men from different communities met Saturday to discuss the status of the churches and how they can move forward to produce mature churches. Please pray that God will give them wisdom as they work together to see the churches mature and expand to other communities. Pai Tavy Tera tribe, Paraguay
(October 23rd, 2009): Bible teaching in a Pai Tavy Tera village went very well this past weekend. Missionaries Mike and Trisha Goddard had some profitable time interacting with the Pai people and a group of 20 believers from a church that came from one of the towns. Mike challenged the church group to become more involved in missions. Pray for the continued spiritual growth of the Pai Tavy Tera people and that Paraguayan believers will reach out to the tribes. (October 12th, 2009): As missionary Gordie Hunt was working with his Manjui co-worker recently on the final draft of Matthew, the Manjui man said, "What is written down here sounds just like we Manjui talk. This will be easy for our people to understand." Please pray that they can continue to translate God’s Word clearly and accurately. Paraguay
(October 5th, 2009): Nineteen Paraguayan students will hear 15 hours of teaching this week about teaching the Bible chronologically. Pray that missionary Mike Goddard will have the strength to teach. Mike will also conduct two question-and-answer classes. Pray too for the students to be good learners. Paraguay
(October 2nd, 2009): Over a three week period in September, missionaries Mike Goddard and Randy Steel had the opportunity to teach a week-long course on evangelism and discipleship at three Paraguayan churches. The students were and are looking for ways to implement what they learned into their ministries. Pray that God will direct them. Sanapana tribe, Paraguay
(September 29th, 2009): This week John Stucky began translating Acts. Recently he has been translating sections of Scripture for Bible lessons, and he is glad to be working on a book again. Pray for wisdom and diligence in this demanding task, and pray that God’s Word will bear much fruit among the Sanapana people. Ayore tribe, Paraguay
(September 21st, 2009): Earlier this month, seven Ayore church leaders and a team of missionaries visited Ayore camps in need of hearing the Gospel. "Our hearts desire would be for an Ayore family to move out there … to teach regularly for several months without interruption," wrote Bruce Higham. "Do pray with us in this respect." Paraguay
(September 10th, 2009): Nine Paraguayan students are taking a class on evangelism and discipleship. Please pray that teachers Mike Goddard and Randy Steel can present the material clearly and that the students will apply what they are learning to their everyday lives. Pai Tavy Tera tribe, Paraguay

(August 17th, 2009): A team of eight Paraguayan young people and missionary Mike Goddard visited an Ache village this past weekend. They enjoyed two times of fellowship with the believers and had the opportunity to see cross-cultural missionary work first hand. (July 8th, 2009): Each Friday, missionary Wes Goddard teaches a group of ten to 15 young Pai boys. They recently finished a series of 20 lessons about the life of David and started a new series last week on the parables of Christ. Wes wrote, "Pray that these young boys would make wise choices as they grow older and that they would choose to follow the Word of God." Ayore tribe, Paraguay
(June 30th, 2009): A group of ten from the USA last week erected a resource building to assist missionaries and the Ayore believers in their ministry. Thank the Lord for this group and pray that the Ayore church will be encouraged by their work. Paraguay
