Purpose:

To be a vital part of assisting the church planting ministry by providing a family environment for missionary children.

Responsibilities:

Function in a parental role for boarding students living in the dorm for upper elementary through High School age.
• Care for the physical needs of the children -- cooking and caring for them when sick, etc.
• Discipling students through the daily events of life.
• Managing the daily operation of the dorm.
• Maintaining healthy boundaries and expectations for boarding students.
• Helping students with homework, working with teachers, etc.
• Maintaining regular communication with parents.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree:

NTM Training

Experience:

Must be full-time members of NTM who have completed the NTM training program. Prefer dorm parents to have done the dorm parenting track in the training.

Skills:

Can function well with a limited amount of privacy over extended periods of time. Have very stable existing family relationships.
