Lavongai tribe, Papua New Guinea (November 21st, 2008): This week missionary Wade Ebersole taught a group of Lavongais about Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem and the Last Supper. In three remaining lessons the people will hear about Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Please pray that they will understand clearly and place their faith in Christ.

Kol tribe, Papua New Guinea (November 12th, 2008): Please pray that the believers would recognize the aspects of their culture that run contrary to Scripture and make the appropriate adjustments to their belief system and practices.

 

Mamusi tribe, Papua New Guinea (November 12th, 2008): After teaching 20 evangelistic Bible lessons in one village, the teaching was stopped because of a land dispute. Please pray that this issue will be settled quickly so the teaching can continue.

Uriai tribe, Papua New Guinea (November 6th, 2008): Missionaries plan to begin evangelistic Bible teaching in early 2009. Abasakur tribe, Papua New Guinea (November 6th, 2008): Please pray for a missionary team that will visit several villages next week to see about beginning a ministry among the Abasakur people. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Patpatar tribe, Papua New Guinea (November 4th, 2008): After hearing lessons from the Old Testament, this week the Patpatars began hearing about the life of Christ. Please pray that they will have good understanding as Christ and the Gospel are presented. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Madak tribe, Papua New Guinea (November 4th, 2008): Missionaries began teaching evangelistic Bible lessons to the Madak people this week. They will teach four days a week for the next several months. Please pray for good attendance and attentiveness, and that the teaching will be clearly presented.

 

Simbari tribe, Papua New Guinea (October 30th, 2008): Simon Ogg, the teenage son of missionaries David and Shari Ogg, needed to go to Australia to treat a broken ankle. Patpatar tribe, Papua New Guinea (October 29th, 2008): Did Grandma Cecelia truly believe in Christ before her death last week? Missionaries Aaron and Lori Luse and Butch and Tammy Kunzer hope she understood when they presented the Gospel to her. Tobo tribe, Papua New Guinea (October 29th, 2008): Two Tobo men, Tingon and Kips, attended a translation workshop with missionary Chad Mankins and the men are working together to translate Romans.
