Thank You for considering volunteering!
Some things you need to know
Application- So we can get to know you a little better and have an idea how you may fit into the work at NTM Homes, all volunteers first complete an application. The application includes information such as: skills and abilities, health issues, testimony of salvation, and references. Applications are available online.
Work schedule- Volunteers generally work from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. being lunch break. Wives are not required to work, however those who wish to help usually work from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. These work schedules are somewhat flexible depending on the individuals' needs. 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. each morning is our chapel time. Most volunteers enjoy attending.
Job description- We have a wide array of work that we do here at NTM Homes: maintenance, plumbing, carpentry & construction, concrete, grounds & landscape, painting, mechanics, equipment operating, housekeeping, etc. We also have those who help with our assisted living facility: cooks, nursing & personal care, cleaning, etc. We try to use people in the service areas they most would desire and have experience in but we cannot guarantee specific types of work. What we most need is willing hands!

R.V. sites- The majority of NTM volunteers come for the winter months of the year escaping the cold north. Volunteers come with various types of R.V.'s. We provide the sites for parking with full hookups at no charge as long as individuals are volunteering. (Sorry, we cannot store your R.V.'s). During certain peak times we may not be able to offer a sewer hook-up for all volunteers but a dump station is available. This is our only source of housing. Any other housing arrangements would be solely up to the individual. We welcome volunteers any time of the year and for any period of time, i.e. one week or two months.

Club house- A central gathering place for volunteers is affectionately referred to as the "club house". This building offers restroom facilities (with showers), laundry, and an area used for fellowship meals as well as "break-times" at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. Games and puzzles are often the activities on any given night. |
