Thank you for your interest
in NTM Homes
NTM Homes is a retirement center for New Tribes Mission. New Tribes is an organization with over three thousand missionaries working in twenty seven different countries whose goal is to take the gospel of Christ to tribal people in remote areas throughout the world.
The Mission was established in 1942. As you can imagine we were faced with the retirement needs of those early year members, many of whom had few options for retirement. The decision was made in 1979 to start a retirement center to meet this need. Progress has brought the center to a forty acre tract of land near our International Headquarters in Sanford, Florida.
NTM Homes provides three
distinct levels of care for retired missionaries
 |
Independent living- One and two bedroom
duplex apartments are provided for retired missionaries who can manage
their own care. The duplexes are ground level and offer a screened
patio, carport, and central air conditioning. The cost to retirees
is a monthly maintenance fee plus utilities. |
 |
Latham Center -The Latham Center is for retired
missionaries who are no longer able to manage living in the larger
duplex apartments. There
are single rooms in the Latham Center building including a private
bath. Meals are served daily. Available services include:
housekeeping, laundry and transportation. The Latham residents also
pay a monthly fee. |
 |
Assisted Living Facility -Assisted living is a
midpoint on the health care spectrum between independent living and
nursing home care. The purpose is to help missionaries stay as independent
as possible. Our staff assist retirees with the activities of daily
living: meals
in the dining room, housekeeping, laundry, supervised medication,
transportation and other services. Residents of the assisted living
wing pay a monthly fee which is slightly higher than the Latham Ctr. |
