(September 22nd, 2009): The first of 14 Kodiaks is scheduled to arrive at NTM Aviation in November. Hangar facilities have been expanded and aircraft personnel have begun training to be ready for its arrival. (August 4th, 2009): One collision with a pig, an overgrown landing spot, absent missionaries and a shortage of fuel couldn’t keep missionaries Joseph Colyn and Joe Evans from feeling blessed. (March 30th, 2009): A Semandang church came together to build so that their area could have a modern clinic, and last week, a plane arrived bringing the first group of doctors and nurses who will spend a week taking care of medical needs. Praise God for the progress this church has made, and pray for that spiritual needs will be met by this as well. Indonesia

After a routine flight into a Southern Isnag village, Steve had to make an emergency trip to deliver a mother and her newborn child to a hospital for medical help. Rich and Karen Brown and their children will be flying in tomorrow morning. Praise the Lord that the airstrip is available. Senegal
(January 31st, 2008): Missionary pilot Mark Mowery has been advised by doctors to return to the USA for back surgery. Mark has been serving the missionaries in Senegal until Jim and Kris Stewart return from home assignment. The flight program will be suspended temporarily and supplies will be delivered by road until Jim and Kris return in late June or early July. Please pray that the Mowerys can find the right doctor to help with Mark's back. Pray too for safety and the logistics of delivering supplies by truck. Papua New Guinea
(January 10th, 2008): The helicopter involved in an accident in Papua New Guinea last month is expected to arrive in Arizona in February for evaluation. NTM Aviation personnel will determine whether it can be repaired or will need to be replaced. Pray that this helicopter or another can be back in service soon. Find out more --

A shipment of fuel arrived in port but missionary pilot Jim Stewart was only able to buy a small amount since the fuel company has yet to receive their large stock. (September 22nd, 2005): The airstrip for the Simbari ministry has been closed. The strip was considered unsafe due to constant rains and poor upkeep while the missionaries were on home assignment. (September 14th, 2005): NTM Aviation recently shipped 45 drums of avgas to Tamatama to end a five-month period of being without fuel in the jungle. (July 22nd, 2005): A missionary foundation in the USA, with a heart for missionary service in Africa, wants to help with the operating costs of the flight program. (January 20th, 2005): Wednesday, NTMA pilot Bruce McCurdy, 48, was killed instantly when the jeep in which he was traveling alone was broadsided by a truck. His co-workers Scott Meyer and Indonesians Yuspiter and Nomad, who are currently in aviation mechanics training, were in the vehicle ahead. Bruce was visiting them in Michigan. Please pray for Bruce’s wife, Pam, and sons Don, 15, and Grant, 12, in Camdenton, Missouri. Pray also for Scott, Yuspiter, Nomad and their families, who are among the many shaken by the loss of their friend. The funeral service is planned for Saturday. Indonesia
(December 22nd, 2004): Pray for Indonesian believers Yuspiter and Fitria Yambung and Nomad and Vanti Yelman. The two couples are in Michigan so the men can be trained in missionary aviation. Pray for them as the cold weather is far removed from the warmth of Indonesia and they miss their families at this time of year. Both wives are expecting, Fitria in January and Vanti in June. Pray that God will continue to meet their needs and that the men will learn much to benefit the flight program in Indonesia. Papua New Guinea
(December 6th, 2004): Damage to two planes in November has caused an extra workload for mechanics. No injuries occurred in either situation, but the repairs are time-consuming and expensive. Pray that the men will know how to schedule their projects. Find out more --

Venezuela
(November 9th, 2004): A number of pilots and aircraft mechanics are on home assignment which means double duty for those in Venezuela. And one of the projects taking up time and energy is trying to get the new hanger certified as an approved maintenance facility. Pray for strength for the pilots and mechanics and for good interaction with Venezuelan officials regarding the certification process. Senegal
(October 19th, 2004): Escalating fuel prices are making it far too expensive for missionaries to fly in Senegal. Missionary pilot Jim Stewart, and his wife, Kris, ask that you pray for God’s leading and wisdom in the flight program. Indonesia
(September 21st, 2004): Helimission pilot Neil Roesler was killed Monday when his helicopter crashed into a mountain in Indonesia. The Helimission ministry plays a major role in flying NTM missionaries into tribal locations. Neil has been a tremendous blessing and a friend. Pray for his wife, Sandy, and their two young children, Kaila, 2, and Micah, 1. United States
(August 25th, 2004): Four men have finished their training with NTM Aviation and qualified as pilot/mechanics. Pray for God’s direction as they take the next steps to fill much needed ministries in various countries. United States
(August 16th, 2004): Last weekend, 17-year-old Jeff Burnham piloted a Super Cub on a sentimental journey from McNeal, Arizona to Rosehill, Kansas. The airplane that Martin Burnham flew now belongs to his son. Find out more --

Venezuela
(July 14th, 2004): A plane that was damaged in an accident two weeks ago will be dismantled and shipped for repairs. Pray that this will be done safely. Pray too for aviation personnel as they seek to provide the services necessary to their fellow missionaries; and for the pilot, who was uninjured but shaken up. |
