NTBI is the first phase of training with New Tribes Mission.
Many NTBI graduates go on to the Missionary Training Center, and become members of New Tribes Mission. The two-year course there, combined with your studies at New Tribes Bible Institute, will equip you to join the team that is taking the Gospel to tribes who have yet to hear.

However, you may wish to receive training in other areas before beginning service with NTM. Or you may believe God is leading you to other ways of serving Him. In that case, NTBI can be a good start on a degree.
