23 hours is too long to wait

This spring, an older man who was visiting his children serving overseas became very ill.
He was so ill that he needed to be flown to another country for medical help; his needs were beyond anything available in the country he was visiting.

Normally, an NTM Aviation aircraft would be available to fly him to help. It's a two-hour process. But there's only one plane suitable for that task in the country, and it was already out of the country itself, getting some major work done.
Medical personnel were forced to turn to a commercial company, and -- 23 hours later -- the visitor was in the hospital and getting the care he needed.
In many cases, it's preferable to use a twin-engine aircraft for longer flights over water. But the Kodiak's reliable turbine engine and lower maintenance requirements make it a great backup aircraft when a twin-engine plane is not available.
Because no one should have to wait 23 hours for medical care.
New Tribes Mission plans to send its first Kodiak to Papua New Guinea, one of the countries where advanced medical care is across the sea. That plane is expected to be delivered this year, and generous donors have already given all but about $20,000 of the plane's cost.
Your gift can help get the Kodiak out where it is needed >>
