Top to bottom: Kodiak number eight arrives at JAARS' facility in South Carolina; Kodiak number 11, destined for Mission Aviation Fellowship, is prepared to receive its engine; assembly line view shows Kodiaks 12, 13, 14 and 15 on the floor, with two more in the fixtures in the foreground; Kodiaks 17 and 18 in framing and skinning fixtures.

Kodiaks are rolling off the assembly line, and the day is drawing closer when NTM's first Kodiak will be delivered.
Kodiak number eight was delivered this month to JAARS, the aviation and communication wing of Wycliffe Bible Translators. This first Kodiak for missionary aviation will be put into service in Papua New Guinea.
Kodiak number 11 -- the first one purchased through matching funds for missionary aviation -- is having its engine installed. Perhaps as early as next month, this Kodiak will be delivered to Mission Aviation Fellowship. So New Tribes Mission's first Kodiak -- number 31 -- is expected to be completed toward the end of 2009.

Already, the delivery costs for that aircraft are 95 percent funded. Only $30,544 is still needed to pay for:
- Special equipment for missionary aviation, such as cargo pods, avionics and larger tires.
- Delivery, shipping, customs, registration and licensing, and insurance.
- Pilot training and checkout, and setup for maintaining the Kodiak in Papua New Guinea.
Thank you for your interest in the Kodiak and the role you are playing in expanding the reach of the Gospel. Please:
- Join us in thanking God for the completion and delivery of JAARS' Kodiak.
- Pray for continued good progress so NTM's first Kodiak will stay on schedule.
Your gift can also help pay the last of the delivery costs for NTM's first Kodiak. Give online, or see other options for giving >>
