Expand the reach of the Gospel
The Kodiak is crucial ...
Every day there are needs in Papua New Guinea's remote villages that only aircraft can meet.
 |
An Akolet man needs a medical airlift.
The Uriai church planting team needs someone to come in and help with Bible translation.
Missionaries in the Abau tribe need food for the next month.
|
In the past, days of hiking or paddling were required to serve the needs of missionaries and tribes. With aircraft, what used to take days now takes only minutes. The Kodiak allows this to continue. God's Word is taken more quickly to the far reaches of Papua New Guinea.
Your gift is crucial.
Your gift toward purchasing and outfitting the first of 14 Kodiak airplanes for New Tribes Mission helps plant churches in unreached tribes in Papua New Guinea.

Mission aviation is dealing with fuel shortages ...
All NTM airplanes operting in remote tribal airstrips run on aviation gasoline, also known as avgas. Avgas is in increasingly short suppy at steadily higher prices as refineries cut and even eliminate production.
The days of being able to fly avgas-fueled aircraft in Papua New Guinea are numbered.
 |
Your gift has long-term benefits.
The Kodiak is the answer ...
The Kodiak runs on jet fuel, which is less expensive and more readily available than avgas. |
You can help provide the answer.

More access ...
Remote grass and dirt airstrips -- like those that serve missionaries planting churches among tribal people -- are tough on planes.
The Kodiak, designed specifically for mission aviation by Quest Aircraft, addresses these challenges with a powerful turbine engine, special wing design, rugged landing gear and healthy ground clearance.
More reliable ...
 |
The Kodiak's turbine engine is more reliable than the piston engines of the Cessna 206, the current workhorse of mission aviation in Papua New Guinea.
The Kodiak is designed for longevity and ease of maintenance to provide more time in the air, helping missionaries plant churches. |
More room ...
The Kodiak has twice the space of a Cessna 206, reducing the number of trips taken. The cruising speed is 25 percent faster and it carries larger gear.
Fewer, faster flights save missionaries time and money -- time and money they can use to help tribal people know Jesus.

Covering the costs ...
Faithful ministry partners have provided funds for New Tribes Mission to put a $750,000 deposit down on each of the 14 Kodiaks to be used in tribal church planting around the world.
To put the first of these aircraft in service in Papua New Guinea, New Tribes Mission must pay the following additional expenses:
 |
- outfitting
- shipping
- insurance
- training for on-location pilots and maintenance personnel
|
$521,764 is needed to place the Kodiak in service in Papua New Guinea -- helping tribal people hear the Gospel.
