NTM's training equips missionaries for planting tribal churches
The Moi tribe of Indonesia lives so deep in the jungle that they have no concept of the outside world. Isolated by cloud-scraping mountain ridges, impenetrable masses of trees and vines, treacherous rivers and oozing swamps, they speak a language no one else can speak – a language intricately tied to their worldview, their beliefs, their dark and claustrophobic world.
And God sent Stephen and Carolyn Crockett to plant a church here.
Because of their specialized, comprehensive training, the Crocketts knew where to start and how to proceed. The Mois heard Bible lessons in their own language for the first time ever, and had their first opportunity to choose Jesus as their Savior. They’re learning to take the Gospel to other Mois, and to the tribes around them. All to the glory of God.
