GUINEA'S LONG-TIME PRESIDENT DIES

NTM missionaries in Guinea are taking serious precautions following the death of the country's president.

Early Tuesday morning, it was announced that President Lansana Conte had died. While no unrest has yet been reported, indications are that the transition of power will not be orderly.

New Tribes Mission personnel inside and outside Guinea will continue to the monitor the situation.

Please pray for a peaceful resolution to this situation in Guinea.
