Listening to evangelistic Bible lessons on audio tape is raising many questions among Landumas in Guinea.

Masalu, a Landuma believer, records the lessons and urges his listeners to follow God's true path. He actively seeks opportunities to follow up on his message and explain more about God's message and encourage them to listen and believe.

Recently he went to another village to visit a friend and encountered a group of men drinking tea and listening to a Bible lesson on an audio player. It was dark and the men did not notice his approach. They were talking among themselves. "Whatever they are preaching there, we don't understand any of it," one of them said, "because they don't mention the prophet or our holy book."

Sana, another in the group, said, "Whenever I hear it is being preached, I will go there and listen. What they are saying is really the truth." Others said, "But we shouldn't listen because it isn't the path of our holy book."

Then Masalu walked into their midst and greeted them. They laughed and said, "Oh, the audio player preacher has come."

An argument ensued between Sana, who wanted to hear the teaching, and others in the group who said he was an apostate because he was listening to a message that didn't come from their holy book or their prophet.

Masalu spoke up and said, "We don't say it is our message or some prophet's message, we say it is God's message. You should listen to it and understand it. Then you can believe it or reject it. But you all need to make the effort to listen."

Sana replied that Masalu was speaking the truth; they did need to listen and decide. Pray for Sana as he seeks the Truth. Pray for the other Landumas who don't yet understand God's message of Salvation.
