DIFFERENT DIALECT DERAILS DIRECTION

Rob and Dawn are seeking where to locate among the Lue Yong people.

Missionaries Rob and Dawn Orwiler and Lisa Gardiner are seeking wisdom as to where to locate their ministry to the Thai Lue people in Thailand.

Recently the team visited several groups of Lues that met the criteria for beginning a church planting ministry and found that none of them spoke the Lue dialect they were studying. They were all somewhat disappointed as that meant further work and a change in direction.

After much prayer and discussion they decided that they should work with a group called the Lue Yongs. Rob now is doing more research and visiting Lue Yong villages to see which ones seem to most closely fit the criteria for a church planting team.

Then the team will visit the villages together and decide which of those villages God would have them minister to. Pray that the team will have clear direction from God and unity in deciding where to move.

Pray also for Rob as he visits different Lue Yong villages and for Dawn and the four children waiting at home for his return.
