Last week missionaries Ralph and Kim Lewis reported that the Kui alphabet is approved by the Royal Academy of Cambodia. This brings them one step closer to being ready to teach God's Word to the Kuis.

Ralph and Kim and their five children moved into a Kui village in Cambodia early 2006 and began learning the culture and language. They are now translating evangelistic Bible lessons into the Kui language and since the alphabet has been approved their co-workers can check the translation and resolve any spelling issues.

Ralph and Kim are also taking every opportunity to show God's love to the Kui people so that hearts will be prepared for the Gospel message. They recently built a medical clinic for the people and Ralph and Kim hosted the first clinic day last Tuesday. The medical clinic will provide many opportunities for the missionaries to learn culture and language and to build deeper relationships with the Kui people.

Pray for Ralph and Kim as they minister to the Kuis. Pray that they will be diligent in studying the culture and language. Pray also that God will prepare the hearts of the Kui people for hearing evangelistic Bible lessons.
