It's been a tough week for Mike and Libby Wild in the Wano tribe of Indonesia.

On Thursday Libby went to check on a young lady named Doricina who had become very sick.

When Libby arrived, Doricina said she had been vomiting all night. The missionaries brought a rehydration drink and slowly tried to spoon feed the liquid to the Wano lady.

On Friday morning Libby determined that the symptoms closely mimicked that of a ruptured appendix.

They quickly started making arrangements to fly Doricina out to a hospital. The wind was too strong for the helicopter to come that day, so Mike gave the lady several shots to slow down the deadly infection.

And they prayed for good weather.

Saturday morning the entire area was socked in with bad weather. No flights available.

Finally about noon the helicopter was able to make its way in. They quickly got Doricina on board.

Mike, Doricina's husband and another Wano man flew out with her to help.

They arrived at the hospital only to wait for 24 more hours before she could finally get into surgery.

Libby wrote, "Doricina did in fact have a ruptured appendix and it seems to me a miracle that she survived. They drained over a liter of infection out of her abdominal cavity and she is presently in ICU."

Please pray for Doricina as she is still in critical condition. Pray also for Mike, the lady's husband and the other Wano man. They have stayed with Doricina around the clock and have gotten almost no sleep in the last few days.
