660 VERSES WILL BE READY FOR CHECKING

The Semandang translation team is working on seven books of the New Testament.

Missionary Darcy Berglund and her Semandang translation co-workers in Indonesia are currently working on the final editing and corrections for the books of Romans, 1 and 2 Timothy and Thessalonians. These books will soon be printed and in the hands of Semandang believers.

Darcy and the translation team are checking Colossians, Galatians and 1 Corinthians for accuracy and comprehension. They plan to have 660 verses translated and ready for checking and 661 other verses drafted by the end of the year.

Six Semandang ladies are working together on literacy so that Darcy can devote her time to translation projects. They have formed two teams and are preparing 500 reading evaluations for comprehension in several of the 12 Semandang dialects.

Pray for Darcy and the translation team as they translate God's Word into the Semandang language. Pray also for the literacy teams making preparations to teach their people how to read God's Word.
