Missionaries in the Philippines are thanking God for what He is doing among the Tala Andig people.
And they have many reasons to give thanks.
Nine men have joined the ranks of the Bible teachers and are faithfully training every Sunday on how to teach God's Word.
Ten women are training to be clinic workers.
Another group in one village has started listening to evangelistic Bible teaching and two new outreaches have begun in neighboring villages.
The translation of Mark was just completed and passed its last translation check.
The church is sending out its first missionaries. Steve and Roslyn Baird will accompany three Tala Andig families to begin ministry in a distant village.
Missionaries Josh and Belinda Moffit, who are nearing the end of official culture and language study, are thankful that God supplied a need, allowing them more time to study.
"Rachel, the girls' teacher, continues to be such a huge help," Belinda wrote. "The girls love her, and Josh and I have so much more time now for language study."
Praise God for the way He is working among the Tala Andigs, and pray that His Word will continue to reach into hearts and bring others to a saving knowledge of Christ.
