Praise our Lord with us as we rejoice in new believers from the Inanbimali tribe!
The Inanbimali people of Papua New Guinea have heard ten weeks of evangelical Bible teaching, culminating in teaching about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
They are responding to the Gospel, and the missionaries are sitting down and talking with individuals to hear their personal testimonies of faith.
"There was no altar call, no raising of hands, no bowing of the heads and praying, none of that," wrote missionary Tim Shontere. Instead, the focus is on "a one-on-one discipleship to find out what they are really thinking."
"There are still so many people that we need to get with alone to see how much they understand," wrote missionary Tony Sutton. "We have babies in Christ that need discipleship and then we have unbelievers that still need that one-on-one time to help them understand clearly."
Please continue in prayer for the Inanbimali people, as they transition into a group of believers who will be meeting for teaching, discipleship and fellowship.
