The Missionary Training Center (MTC) will prepare you, as a missionary candidate, to be part of the
team that is planting tribal churches. The course provides you with the thorough, specialized training
you need in order to be properly equipped for the role God has for you.
The Church Planting Track runs three semesters. Course topics include Christian life principles, culture
and language acquisition, church planting principles and many others. Additional language analysis
training is available for those who qualify.
The Support Track is incorporated in the Church Planting Course and runs two semesters. Those slated
for this track have been pre-approved for a specific support ministry within New Tribes Mission, such as
teachers and pilots. An additional 6 to 9 month internship (depending on specific aviation ministry) will
be required for all support track candidates who are pursuing ministry with New Tribes Mission
Aviation. This internship will cover specialized aviation procedures and guidelines that relate directly to
missionary pilots and mechanics serving in remote areas.
