In each of the three regions that we work in our main purpose is to be involved in church planting. However we also exist in Mongolia through various aid projects and small business ventures. We have been involved in different gardening efforts, teaching English, providing medical aid, and housing projects. As each one of us fits into the overall picture of ministry we desire to be faithful in directing our efforts in areas where He leads us.
Central Region (UlaanBaatar):
Capitalism has affected this city of 1.5 million people over the last dozen years! God fingerprints are also clearly evident here as He has used many to bring Mongolians to Himself. Our team has a daunting job as they seek to see God’s Word change lives and disciple believers. Being the ‘hub’ of the country our city personnel have lots of opportunities to serve their teammates in support roles.
Eastern Region:
After 6 years of ministry God has been true to His word to bring a core group of Mongolians to Himself in this region. They are seeking to reach out to a couple of small surrounding towns with the gospel and build a church building. The team desires for the Lord to help them continue to build strong relationships through discipleship, culture and language learning and a small business venture.
Northern Region:
It has seemed to have taken a long time for God’s Word to penetrate the hearts of the Mongolians since the beginning of this work in 1996. Recently prayers for the believers to desire to know God better have begun to take root in some lives. The team continues to teach and disciple believers, be involved in culture and language acquisition and also work in an agricultural project.
We trust the Lord to raise up more laborers committed to the job of seeing the Mongolian church mature in Christ.
