College Wayumi is a five-day in-depth college-level missions course in Central Pennsylvania.

The Wayumi experience for college students is a unique opportunity to zoom in on the task of reaching the unreached people groups of the world. Let God excite your heart for what He is doing.

Wayumi will open your eyes to the incredible challenges in reaching these isolated, unreached people. The course will also expose you to the multi-faceted effort involved in this type of cross-cultural ministry.

2008 Dates:

1. March 17-22  arrive the 17th, leave the 22nd
2. March 24-29  arrive the 24th, leave the 29th
3. August 2-9  arrive the 2nd, leave the 9th

2009 Dates:

1. March 9-14  arrive the 9th, leave the 14th
2. August 1-8  arrive the 1st, leave the 8th

Course Overview:

• Bible – does the Bible speak specifically about reaching the ethnic groups on the earth with the Gospel?
• Language – an incredible obstacle – learn that you can overcome this obstacle
• Culture – learn the in’s and out’s of culture and the challenge of cross-cultural ministry
• Animism – the basic belief system of many unreached people groups
• Evangelism – the challenge of sharing the Gospel in an environment where there is no previous biblical understanding
• Translation – translating God’s Word into a new language
• Relationships – developing relationships and friendships before you can even speak the language
• Teamwork – learn of the teamwork involved in taking the Gospel to isolated people groups
• And many more aspects of cross-cultural ministry
