After interface, stay in Paupua New Guinea for two to three more weeks and experience intership.  You'll have the opportunity to look further into one of five key ministries:

Aviation

In two weeks at the NTM Aviation hangar, you'll help mechanics and jump on flights (on a space-available basis) to see how aviation speeds the church planting process. Applicants need to be a certified aircraft mechanic.

Medical

Working in NTM's Medical Clinic, you'll spend time with doctors, nurses and physical therapists and get an up-close look at missionary medicine. You may see tropical illnesses, emergency evacuations, and diagnosing and prescribing treatments via HF radio.

Education

The unique dynamics of a school for missionaries' children will be clear as you work with a teacher and get to know some of the students. (Classes range from kindergarten to Grade 12.) Your education degree and passion for missions may fit right into teaching missionaries' children.

Information technology

In the Computer Services Department, you'll learn what it's like to meet the IT needs of missionaries all over Papua New Guinea. In the process, you'll see how your computer-related education can help expand the reach of the Gospel.

Business administration

Depending on your specialization, you could be spending time with finance office personnel, accountants, business administrators or others in their day-to-day responsibilities at the mission's offices in Papua New Guinea.
