We wanted to share with you a little more about our time line for going overseas.
We moved to Missouri in August 2006 and we will finish our candidate training in May 2007
This summer we will be spending the month of June in Baltimore and the month of July in Calgary meeting with people and raising support.
August 2007 we will be moving to New Tribes Mission’s Aviation Headquarters in Douglas, Arizona for Mike’s advanced flight and maintenance training for flying in rugged conditions. This training will last six to nine months.
May- September 2008 (?) we will be spending time with our families and friends in Baltimore and Calgary. During this time we will be raising the remainder of our support. When this support is raised, we will move overseas.
We will come back every four years for about six months to spend time visiting our families and friends.
Please pray for us and our families as we prepare to go. It is hard to imagine leaving our families and friends. It will be hard to say goodbye. It would be easy for us to enjoy life here with our family and friends, but we feel the urgency of God calling us to share the gospel with those who have never had the opportunity to hear before.
