Next week marks 2 months since we have been teaching each Sunday morning in a small church just outside of Asuncion.
Pastor Carlos invited us to present the Bible to the church members in an entirely different perspective; to teach the Story of God in chronological order starting in Genesis chapter one verse one. Today, after a number of weeks of laying the foundation, we arrived to lesson 6 on the days of creation.
Due to a special event this Sunday, we had another church join the service, requiring a quick overview of the study and lots of review. Instead of teaching on all six days of Creation, we were only able to cover how God spoke the light into existence and saw that it was good! Next Sunday, Lord willing, the goodness of God will be declared as each day of Creation is presented.
Teaching once again from the book of Genesis has been a wonderful experience for me. What an awesome God we have!

* Note: All the teaching in Itagua has been done primarily in Guarani with a little Spanish mixed in.
