Southern Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (November 18th, 2009): Next week -- Monday through Thursday -- missionaries Barry and Candy Wingo will be working with a dental team headed by Dr. Dan Bentley to care for dental needs among the Southern Tepehuan people. "It’s a taxing time but the Tepehuans appreciate the great service they receive right there in their home town," Barry wrote. Please pray that the act of showing concern for physical needs will build relationships toward their acceptance of the Gospel.

Northern Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (October 13th, 2009): Kevin Case has finished the translation of Titus in the Tepehuan language and Matt Arnold is now doing a check of it. Pray that the Tepehuan people will soon have it in their hands and that it will encourage them.

Guarijio tribe, Mexico (September 28th, 2009): A translation check of Acts 15-28 -- the first book of the Bible translated into the Guarijio language -- went very well. Missionary Terry Reed and his co-worker, Vicente, were able to complete the check in record time. Terry will now work with another co-worker, Santos, to translate Mark. Please pray that they will be able to produce a clear and accurate translation.

Guarijio tribe, Mexico (September 23rd, 2009): Missionary Terry Reed and his co-worker, Vicente, are checking the Guarijio translation of Acts 15-28. Please pray that they can produce a clear and accurate translation and have it ready for printing.

Triqui tribe, Mexico (September 8th, 2009): Missionaries working among the Triqui people are finding the language to be very challenging. Please pray that God will encourage them and give them the abilities to learn the language.

Guarijio tribe, Mexico (August 21st, 2009): Missionaries Terry and Renee Reed have Scripture ready for a translation check but their Guarijio co-worker, Vicente, has taken a job in another area and his availability is uncertain. Please pray that Vicente will be available and the translation check can go ahead as scheduled.

But translating is difficult when there's no written form to look at. Please pray that the writing process will go smoothly so they can start translating God's Word in the Guarijío language.
