TARAHUMARA MINISTRY RESUMES

After being away from the Tarahumara people for seven months, missionaries Ted and Sharon Wingo are eager to share about God's faithfulness among the Tarahumaras in Mexico.
Ted has taken up teaching the believers again and is seeing how growth has been taking place in their hearts.
"Our initial assessment of how they did in our absence is that, while some purposed to stand strong, they tried to do it more on an individual level," Ted wrote. "So we continue to pray they learn to function more as a body and that encouragement would be given to, and received from, each other."
Other Tarahumaras want to learn about God for the first time.
One man, Cruz, who helped Ted with translation in the past, wants to learn more about God's Word.
"After an on-going fight with his brother, [he] wants to 'grab the new road,'" Ted wrote.
A woman, Cruzita, has also heard some of God's Truth from Juana, Tarahumara believer, and wants to hear more.
"[She] has seen a different way of life in the ones up at that ranch," Ted wrote. "She too wants to hear the Bible lessons."
Please pray that God will continue to work in the lives of Cruz and Cruzita, as well as the other Tarahumaras, both believers and unbelievers. |
