Daily Scripture

"Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person."

Psalm 31:23

We have been privileged to witness God's work among the Guanano people, first in Colombia and now in Brazil.

Living among the Guanano people has been an adventure of faith. Through them, the Lord has taught us many things. We have heard their words of faith and have seen real evidence of spiritual growth. They have moved away from their fear of fish and animal spirits and now  joyfully express their new found trust in a Living God who guides and protects them on a daily basis.

Our main work is discipling the believers. We are translating portions of the Old Testament to support the chronological teaching of the Bible. The New Testament was done by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Nate and Carolyn Waltz.

We are currently leading the believers through the study of 1 and 2 Thessalonians. We are developing teaching materials the believers can use. We are praying that the Lord will raise up tribal church leaders who will assume the responsibility from us of teaching and giving direction to the work.

Will you pray with us?
