PREPARATIONS FOR TRAVEL RAMP UP... (January 6, 2008)
We are still in the high desert of Yucca Valley, California. Seth is fine and his sprained elbow has recovered fine. Please pray for provision for this $1500 hospital bill. Praise the Lord our tickets to Indonesia have been provided for and purchased! Our Visa's are stamped in our passports and have been partially provided for. We would like to pay the overseas portion of this as soon as possible. Travels during November and December went well and we were able to share at many churches as well as a elementary school chapel-- Baptist Christian School - Hemet, California. This is where Lawrence attended Preschool through 7th grade. He reconnected with his 6th grade teacher - still teaching 6th grade! Note: Seth is also in 6th grade. TRAVELING AGAIN... (November 5, 2007)
Greetings from Yucca Valley, California. We are thankful that there were no fires in our area, but many people within a couple hours of here have been affected. First, we would like to thank you for upholding us in prayer. Many of you have been praying for quite some time now about opportunities to share with individuals and churches. The Lord has filled our November, and even some of December. Second, about a week ago Seth was skating and fell on his elbow. Because he was in such pain, and there was swelling we thought it best to take him to the ER. After three x-rays, it was determined to only be badly sprained. A fiberglass cast was put on, and recovery is going well. Although our support is increasing, we do not have insurance for this kind of thing yet. Last Friday I headed down to Los Angeles to turn in our paperwork for our VISA's. I was told that everything looked to be in order and we could pick them up in a week. Fee's have been paid stateside, but we still have processing fee's we owe to Indonesia. Also, our outgoing needs list has been updated, click here for current prayer items. Travel this month includes church visits to: Colorado: Loma, Glade Park, Parachute, Fruita. Utah: Ephriam, Park City. California: Hemet. If you see we are near you and would like a visit, please drop us an e-mail or give us a call. Thanks for keeping us in prayer. Exciting news in Indonesia: click here. Rachel was the one who helped us get started with the Indonesian language. |
