Our Purpose

Each member of our family has a desire to glorify God.
"... we are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts" - 1 Thess. 2:4

Still keeping all in balance, we have a burden for those people who do not have the opportunity to know about Jesus Christ. This is the focus of New Tribes Mission -- planting churches among tribal people.

Our ministry will be to provide air transportation of missionaries, supplies, and medical flights to remote jungle locations so God's Word can be presented.

Lawrence is an experienced pilot and flight-instructor as well as aircraft mechanic.  He has received the specific training necessary for operating aircraft on jungle strips.  

Jodie will operatate the radio providing flight following as well as homeschool our two children Sarah and Seth.

Indonesia (August 28, 2008)
Indonesian citizens Yuspiter Yambung and Nomad Nelman are training in Arizona to serve in missionary aviation. However some issues with their visas need to be resolved. Pray that their training can continue. Find out more -- read the story >>

Papua New Guinea (August 27, 2008)
The cost of maintaining an aviation program is rising. Added insurance and fuel costs will necessarily be passed on to the missionaries. Pray for wisdom as NTM Aviation makes decisions regarding this.
