coffeepot Kidstuff
Teacher's Lounge

If you have a ministry with children, this is your destination. Kids: You're welcome here, too -- but don't touch the coffee pot!

Guidelines
All the materials in Kidstuff are copyrighted, but that doesn't mean you can't use them. It just means we're putting some guidelines on how they are used.

The materials in Kidstuff are freely available for you to use, in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Children's Church, ... wherever they can be a blessing. We are attaching one string, however, and it's a very important one. You may not re-distribute this material in any form unless you also distribute our special notice page.

What this means is, you may print out and use the stories and pictures to tell the story in a classroom setting, or on a bulletin board, or one-on-one with children, or however else you want to use it in your ministry. But you are not allowed to copy anything on this site to another web site, or to pass it on to others, without the notice.

If you want to re-distribute something -- say, you want to give Eliel's story to another teacher who doesn't have an Internet connection -- just print out the story, and go to the notice page and print that out, and pass them on together.

We apologize that such restrictions are necessary, and we thank you for your cooperation in this.

Materials
In addition to the materials we have here in Kidstuff, New Tribes Mission also publishes Bible teaching materials for children, ideal for home-schooling, Sunday School, etc. Get more information in our Bookstore, where you can even view some lesson pages.

As far as the materials, here in Kidstuff, you are welcome to use any of it in your classrooms, etc. But we have two specially prepared Teachers' Versions available. Each has pictures you can show the children while you read accompanying text. You can also print them out and post them on a bulletin board. And if you come up with other ways to use them, let us know, so we can share your great ideas with other folks!

The Faith of Eliel: This short story is appropriate for a Sunday school class, or a single story-time session in virtually any setting.

God at the Controls: This story is more appropriate for a series of storytelling sessions, such as summer camp or vacation Bible school, or several Sunday school classes in a row. Each part is intended for a single session, but you are, of course, free to use them at whatever pace is appropriate for the children you are teaching.

We are also in the process of adapting Abeedou's Secret and Abeedou's Friend to teacher's versions. Yes, we are still in the process of doing this; sorry it's taken so long. And watch for future episodes on Jennifer's family and on Abeedou and Bala, and for Teachers' Versions of those, too.

Please contact us (see below) if we can serve you in any other way, or if you have some other ideas on using these materials, or you just want to make suggestions or comments or other contributions. We want the Teacher's Lounge to be a blessing to those in ministry to children.
