Jennifer's Fears
by Dena McMaster
Part Four: Missionary Helpers
"We're also going to help missionaries in other lands," Mrs. Harris continued. "We've asked the church office to give us the names and addresses of some missionaries. We'll each write to one, to find out about them and how we can pray for them. We'll pray for them each day. Can you think of any other things we can do for our missionaries?"

Jennifer writes a letter"Maybe we could send them little things in our letters," Jennifer suggested.

"That's a good idea," Mrs. Harris said. "We could send little things that they can't get, like Kool-Aid or packages of Dream Whip or sticks of gum or tea bags."

"I could send the comic pages in a small package or the sports page. I bet some missionary would love that!" added John.

"Those are wonderful ideas, kids. You'll probably think of lots more ways to be missionary helpers as we go along. We can be missionaries, and we can pray, we can write, and we can give, and we can have a great time while we do it!"

You, too, can write to missionaries, and send them little things. And there must be a lot of other ways you can be a missionary helper. Can you think of any?
