From the Part One:
One: Tim and Bunny lived with the Puinaves
Two: Alberto and Chicho warned Tim and Bunny
Three: Tim and Bunny let the guerrillas in
Four: The guerrillas told Tim to call the plane -- or else!
Five
: Surely the plane wouldn't land!

From Part Two:
One: Paul decided to ride along with Steve.
Two: How would Steve land?
Three: "We are the FARC, and you are our prisoners."
Four: "Hey, Steve, I need the keys."
Five: Steve watched as the plane flew away.
Six: "Don't blame yourself," Steve told Tim.
Seven: "You mean guerrillas might be holding Daddy?" Kimberly asked.

From Part Three:
One: "We want you to make one more flight for us."
Two: The guerrillas pushed the airplane into the woods.
Three: "Lord, that would mean that you want me to be right where I am!"
Four: That afternoon Paul had a visitor.
Five: Slowly, Paul edged a small log under his bed.
Six: The guard came closer and shined the light on him.
Seven: In a flash Paul was out from under the mosquito net.
Eight: Crack! Oh no! Paul froze.

From Part Four:
One: Paul groped his way back to the trail.
Two: Paul got the leaves and plastic off the plane.
Three: Paul lifted the plane over the stump.
Four: Paul wiped the windows.
Five: Paul leaned out to see until he was in the air.
Six: Paul marveled at God's magnificent creation.
Seven: Trees!
Eight: Paul was amazed!
Nine: Twenty people crowded around the radio.
Ten: Grandma Poulsen reassured Pat.
Eleven: Paul tells his story.

From Part Five:
One: Alberto was anxious to talk with Tim.
Two: Imagine the surprise of the guerrillas when a Puinave family brought them a big bowl of cooked food.
Three: "They're my responsibility," Alberto declared boldly.
Four: Some of the Puinaves cried as the missionaries were taken away.
Five: "Look at the choir of birds!"
Six: "You will be set free," Alberto said.
Seven: The guerrillas blindfolded them.
Eight: Were those tears in the guerrilla's eyes?
