Daily Scripture

"Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person."

Psalm 31:23

After 42 years of marriage!
After 42 years of marriage!
Given the chance, we would do it all over again!
We say YES to marriage!
And YES to these 38 years of tribal missions in Colombia.

One of the most exciting things to do in life is that which lasts forever.  Ken was born and raised in Florida, Carleen was born and raised on the mission field.  We met the last day of our first year at  Bob Jones University and were married the day we graduated in 1964.  We were convinced that God would meet our needs in Colombia, feeling certain that He was leading us there.  In 1967 our very exciting adventure began in that beautiful 3rd world country.

The Colombians won our hearts.  We learned so much from them and soon recognized that the Christians in that land would make excellent missionaries.  For the last 25 years we have been actively involved in the Missionary Institute where Latin Americans have worked their way through the four years of training and moved out to the field. They are in Colombia, Panama, Africa, Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, etc...  There are no regrets for having dedicated our lives to God and His service. If we had the choice, we would do it again.
