Tribal Allocation: We are now officially part of the Morop Team.  For the next two months we will be preparing to move into a Morop village.  While tribal allocation usually consists of surveys into tribal areas and house building, but because we are moving into an missionaries already serving in, these things are not going to be necessary.

 

 Church Planting Time Line:

  • Specialized Training for planting tribal          churches:  4 years
  • Partnership Development: 1-3 years
  • Field Orientation: 6 months - 2 years
  • Tribal Allocation: 6 months - 2 years
  • Studying language and culture of the tribe:    2-5 years
  • Teaching Bible lessons chronologically (evangelism): 6 months - 2 years
  • Discipling tribal believers: 3 - 10 years
  • Translating the New Testament: 8 - 15 years
  • Equipping tribal people for church leadership: 5 - 10 years
