Jody and Barbara Crain grew up in a small rural town of Florida.

April 1978, the Lord led them to serve among the Southern Tagbanwa Tribe of the Philippines. They were part of a team of three families involved in culture and language acquisition, evangelism, church planting, medical/dental programs, Bible translation and community development. Now, 1,300 believers in 17 churches are among the 12,000 Tagbanwa.

In 1999 Jody and Barbara turned over their tribal Church Planting Ministry to the Tagbanwa church leaders and took the Field Directorship of the field's 150 missionaries.
