| Preaching at Calvary Baptist Church |
Some people call me a “Country Preacher Boy” and I guess that’s what I am. I preach in churches wherever and whenever I can, challenging folks to become involved in missions.
During our 11 years in Senegal working among the Malinke people, we were able to help our partners bring the Gospel message to several villages. My field experience allows me to speak with first hand knowledge of the need. With over 3,000 tribes yet without the Gospel, we need all the help we can get.
I continue to expand the reach of the Gospel by recruiting laborers to join us in the task of reaching tribal groups with no access to God’s Word. Recently we have challenged folks to serve with New Tribes Mission in Brazil, Senegal, and PNG.
One young couple is just entering New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, MI. It will be a delight to watch their growth and see what God has for their future. That’s one of the best parts about my ministry; I get to watch God work in lives.
As a part of our ministry of challenging people to become more involved in missions, we offer mission trips to various parts of the world to show missions first hand.
Dena is my secretary and traveling companion. She keeps my schedule straight and lets me know where I’m supposed to be.
She also serves in the Communication Department with NTM. She writes news stories for the web and for our magazine, NTM@work. You can read her news stories on the NTM Home page.
