“If you don’t wire your microwave correctly or have the wrong voltage you will cook yourself from the inside out.” Tim See (Teacher for Tech Tips)
Tech Tips is one of my favorite classes right now. I have been learning all sorts of different things. The best and most fun part of the day is when we do labs. I am proud to say that I have mastered the art of soldering. Sparks fly and smoke curls. The real test of my work comes when I hook what I have made up to the battery. Soldering is just one of the many things that I will need to know how to do to wire my house. I have also been learning about how to figure out how many solar panels and batteries I need to power my house, how to make an odorless outhouse, plumbing, transformers, inverters, generators, small motors, direct and alternating current etc…
This class has been a huge area of trust for me. There are times I will be sitting there in class trying with all of my might and brain power to take it all in. I find myself getting anxious about the fact that I am not going to remember everything. It is those moments that I have to say “God, I need to not fret but trust in you” I know that there will be people there to help me build my house. If I had to do it by myself I am sure that I would blow
