Daily Scripture

"My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net."

Psalm 25:15

The Siawis need to continue to grow in God\`s Grace.
The Siawis need to continue to grow in God\`s Grace.

In the far remote jungles of  Papua New Guinea live a people who lived in fear of water spirits, fear of evil sorcerers, fear of sickness, fear of death, and fear of their dead ancestral spirits.  These people, like so many all over the world, were  without hope.  But then came the truth of God's word which shined brightly into their darkness.   A truth which brought hope.  A truth which told about the Savior of the world.  That truth is what we have come to bring to the Siawi people.  And by God's grace, and His grace alone, we are seeing change.  Slowly but surely the Siawis are learning to trust in the God of the bible.  Yes, we have come to share the truth of the Gospel, but the Gospel is so much more than that- it is the power that allows someone to be changed- from the inside out.  Changed lives and being used by the Lord to allow a New testament church to rise up in Siawi-that is what we are all about.  A church that will stand strong under persectution, guard the truth and last from generation to generation to come.  This truly is a great work that He has brought us here to be involved in!
