JASON'S PARENTS COME TO VISIT

Jonie, Mom, Dad and I

Jonie, Mom, Dad and I

November 28, 2007

by Jason

Jonie and I wanted Mom and Dad to see us in action for the week they were here. Not only did we want to do those touristy things, but we really wanted them to see what we really do and what a normal day looks like in our ministry.

Dad got to go to work with me, and Mom got to hang out with Jonie and do some of the things that she normally does. Both of my parents endured sitting through a few lessons of our language study, and they even picked up a few words!

I think the best part was just being with friends around our campfire and sharing stories. We have some great friends here in McNeal, and we were so excited to have my parents meet them. We played lots of games and even went out into the desert for some fun dirt bike riding.

The four of us did spend one morning in the desert museum in Tucson. I took lots of pictures, lots and lots of pictures! Check them out under Touristy things at Thanksgiving.
